Our Philosophy
At Summerhayes Care Home, we believe in providing a warm, family-oriented environment where residents feel valued, respected, and at home. As a small, family-run residential care home, we are dedicated to offering high-quality, person-centered care tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
Our approach is built on compassion, dignity, and independence. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where residents can maintain their personal routines, enjoy meaningful activities, and feel part of a close-knit community. Whether staying with us long-term, for respite care, or for day care, every resident is treated with the utmost respect and care.
Our experienced team is led by owner and Registered Manager Charlie Mason, who is currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a practising Registered Nurse and holds an Honours Degree in Nursing Studies. Working alongside Charlie is Deputy Manager Sharron Cook, who holds a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care. Together, they ensure that Summerhayes provides professional, high-quality care in a welcoming and homely environment.
