Summerhayes Care Home

Summerhayes is a small family-run non-nursing Residential Care Home providing personal care and accommodation for up to 14 older people. We can offer long-term and short-stay placements as well as day care and respite care.

Our friendly and experienced care staff ensure high standards of personal care are individually tailored to meet our residents’ requirements.

The owner and Registered Manager is Charlie Mason, and the Deputy Manager is Sharron Cook. Charlie is currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a practising Registered Nurse and has an Honours Degree in Nursing Studies. Sharron holds a level 5 foundation degree in Health and Social Care.

The home is an attractive large detached late Georgian property standing in well-maintained gardens and benefits from far-reaching countryside views. It is situated in the small village of Sandford, two miles outside the town of Crediton and eight miles from the city of Exeter.
